Situated adjacent to Kimpton Hotel Born and just across Union Station’s train platform, Tavernetta is the latest project of Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson and Peter Hoglund, owners of Boulder’s famed Frasca Food & Wine. Deeply inspired by the cuisine and wine of all regions in Italy, Tavernetta will be open for lunch and dinner, with highlights including fresh pastas, an all-Italian wine list curated by Wine Director Carlin Karr, and small plates influenced from the culinary team’s travels throughout the boot of Italy. Bringing a familiar, welcoming atmosphere to the bustling Union Station neighborhood, Tavernetta will exceed your expectations on how hospitality can make you feel.
Designed by local architecture firm, Semple Brown, the 125-seat freestanding restaurant will feature an open kitchen, seasonal outdoor patio, full bar and ample private dining spaces.
