Love to last a lifetime in the Mile High City
Anya and Greg met doing competitive mock trial during college at the University of Virginia, but they found there was no closing argument needed when it came to deciding where they should get married. “Denver is our home! Getting married here was my chance to show my family, which is based almost entirely in New York, why Greg and I decided to move to such a beautiful and unusual place,” said the bride.
The wedding day itself included some of Hotel Born’s greatest hits including a room service breakfast for the couple in their suite before Anya welcomed her squad of Ladies (capital “L”) for hair and makeup and Greg made his way to Citizen Rail for a drink with the Guys (capital “G”) before the first look and photos on the Terrace. The ceremony included a surprise vows recitation from Greg and lots of tears, including a drop or two from the ceremony guitarist. Once the reception was underway, it was a “nonstop party” that included speeches, another surprise (an acapella performance) and a festive nightcap at nearby Union Station.
