Situated adjacent to Kimpton Hotel Born and just across Union Station’s train platform, Tavernetta features Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson and Peter Hoglund, owners of Boulder’s famed Frasca Food & Wine. Deeply inspired by the cuisine and wine of all regions in Italy, Tavernetta is open for lunch and dinner, with highlights including fresh pastas, an all-Italian wine list curated by Wine Director Carlin Karr, and small plates influenced from the culinary team’s travels throughout the boot of Italy. Originally from New Jersey, Chef di Cucina, Ian Wortham, started his career cooking in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. In 2004, he attended Ithaca College, where he studied photography.
